tle bag holds tons!! I use it for work to cart around my 13" iPad pro and kinda fits my 14" Lenovo too (but not at the same time), and my lunch. I love the look, the style and the material. The VL is slightly heavier than fabric but it is amazing and super easy to keep clean. If you're like me and don't care for tons of pockets or large backpacks, this bag is for you. The side pockets with drawstring is fantastic; larger than the other bags with magnets. I couldn't have asked for a better design and style. Didn't think I'd like the draw string but turns out, I don't mind it at all! Going to get the fabric one next. Read Less
asily adjustable. I have this one in Sage, Pebble and Indigo. On this particular occasion, I was carrying the Pebble. It was on the ground, on concrete ledges and just about everywhere else. Not once did I worry about it getting dirty cuz I knew it would be so easy to clean up if anything stuck. The inside organization is ideal. You can really fill it if you want to, and everything will stay organized. There is nothing I don't like about it. My only suggestion is to perhaps if it is reworked in the future is to try and add the Lug signature soft pocket for cell phones. But even though it isn't there now, that is not a big deal to me. This is one of my most favorite Lug items, and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the feel of the satin luxe material. Read Less

ocket, but LOVE this rucksack-style bag, so bought it anyway. And it’s honestly been sitting in my closet almost the whole time I’ve had it. But I’m pulling it out again, in hopes I find I really can go without that phone pocket or ANY pockets on the external back wall (which still blows my mind.)
The Positive:
The style! I love it! I’ve grown to really like the SL material, as well. It’s definitely heavier, but feels so sturdy and pleasantly squishable! Also, the interior space is great! Plenty of space for my usual carry items for a day out.. I LOVE the interior organization- it’s the inside of a Hatchback, but in reverse! I also really like the backpack straps, and the snap pocket is cute - love the way it sits on the bag, with the quilting detail and double magnetic snaps.
The Negative:
No external phone pocket!!! No external back wall pockets!!! Only one (?!) non-bottle pocket on the outside??? Also, at least in mine, the bungee cords for the bottle pockets are pretty much useless. They don’t stay tight with ANY amount of outward pressure, even the smallest bit of jockeying about of inside items against the bottle, when I have one in the pocket, will push the bottle outward and the bungee just slides. To mitigate this, I’ve tied a knot in the cord, but it makes getting a bottle into either pocket now a 2-handed hassle, instead of an easy 1-handed task. Also, the top grab-handle is too small. It needs to be sized more like the Hatchback’s. I can get my full hand in, but it takes too much effort. The use of a grab handle should be as mindless as bottle pockets. And my last complaint, there’s no key leash or d-ring or clip or anything to keep keys from getting lost in the bag. Again, a work around could be found, but why do I have to do that?? This is a Lug bag!
I SO want to love this bag!! And I’m SO disappointed that I don’t. But it takes too much effort for things that shouldn’t require it. I don’t mind the complexity of getting inside the bag (clasp and drawstring) - as long as my most frequently used items are EASILY gotten to on the outside - and this is what I expect from a Lug bag. I shouldn’t have to dig through my backpack to get to ALL the little things I have in there, simply because the ONE non-bottle pocket on the outside is being used my phone - not with a Lug bag. I shouldn’t have struggle to make sure I have a good grip on the grab handle, because the handle is too small - not with a Lug bag. I should’ve have to tie my own knots in the bungee cord on the bottle pockets, in an effort to make them hold my water bottle more securely- not with a Lug bag!
I really do want to love this bag, but it bothers me that so many ppl (including myself) feel like they HAVE to use a Coupe as a companion bag, as their means of getting along without those little things we’re all so used to with Lug. When I use my Hatchback, sometimes I WANT to use a Coupe to go with it, but sometimes I really don’t - I just wanna keep it simple.
Ok, that’s my rant. I set my Wiffle back up last night (along with a Coupe XL), and got everything repacked in it, and I’ll try carrying it again for a while, see how I do. But the fact that I have to put this much effort into MAKING myself use this bag again…shouldn’t happen - not with a Lug bag. Read Less
